Hiroko NAKAJIMA
BIOGRAPHYHiroko NAKAJIMA received her M.Eng. while at the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Engineering.
In 2009 Ms. Nakajima passed the Japanese patent attorney examination and was registered as a patent attorney in Japan.
After graduating from the University of Tokyo, she joined IBM Japan as a development engineer where she worked on hardware development.
Following her time at IBM, Ms. Nakajima then worked for a Japanese patent firm where she conducted prior art searches and was involved with prosecution of both domestic and foreign inventions in the areas of optics and mechanics.
Currently, Ms. Nakajima is responsible for conducting prior art searches in Japan and prosecuting patents on foreign applications filed in Japan, Japanese applications filed abroad, as well as domestic Japanese applications.
Ms. Nakajima always does her utmost to protect client's intellectual property rights both in Japan and abroad by utilizing her knowledge, experience, and English language skills.
PRACTICE AREASMs. Nakajima is a certified patent attorney who specializes in affairs related to Intellectual Property rights. She has done work in the areas of prosecution, prior art searches, appeals and litigation related to patents particularly in the area of mechanical engineering.
