BiographyKazuhiko MUSHIAKI majored in Art (Film and Video) at Tama Art University. After graduation, he joined Toshiba Corporation as a designer in the Design Center, where he was mainly responsible for the planning and design development of digital content such as computer graphics (CG), promotional videos, and websites.
CG production involves the production of program materials for public broadcasting and the development of video content for 3D theaters. Promotional video production involves the planning and production of content for PR centers of national and local public organizations. WEB development involves digital marketing using the web and the direction of websites.
He also worked in the Intellectual Property Group of the Design Center and was in charge of obtaining design rights for designs created by designers and group companies.
At Sakamoto & Partners, Mr. Mushiaki handles patent applications, design applications, and trademark applications for Japanese companies, as well as drawings for foreign patent applications. Drawing on his knowledge of design that he has cultivated as a corporate intellectual property specialist, he works closely with his clients to help them make their inventions, designs, and trademarks more understandable, specific, and secure in registration.
