Long JIN

BiographyAfter graduating from the Faculty of Regional Studies at Gifu University in 2010, Long Jin entered the Graduate School of Engineering at Gifu University, where he majored in materials engineering and received his Ph.D. in March 2015.

He worked as a researcher at a university and a company from 2015 to 2016. He then joined a Japanese patent firm and was mainly in charge of Japanese and Chinese patent prosecution from 2017 to 2023.

In 2017, Dr. Jin passed the Chinese patent bar and was registered to practice before the Chinese Patent Office. He passed the Chinese bar examination in 2018. He also passed the Japanese patent bar examination in 2023.

Dr. Jin is able to fully utilize his expertise as well as his experience in Chinese patent prosecution to provide his clients with technical advice, not only on applications in cross-disciplinary technical fields such as chemistry and AI technology, but also on foreign applications, especially Chinese applications, in line with the Chinese practice.
