Mr. Nakamura to Give Lecture in India

Mr. Toshio Nakamura will be giving a lecture at the Symposium on Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Chemical Patent Laws in India in September.

Specialists from a variety of fields in India, the United States, Germany, Brazil and Japan will participate in the symposium and discuss the current state of patent laws in each country.

Mr. Nakamura will be discussing recent decisions in the pharmaceutical sector by the Supreme Court of Japan and the Intellectual Property High Court as they relate to:
I.) Patent Term Extensions
II.) Doctrine of Equivalents
III.) Decisions on Product by Process Claims
